PRESENTATION

The INSA Rouen Normandie (National Institute of Applied Sciences), part of the INSA Group, is one of 7 state owned multidisciplinary engineering schools located throughout France.

On our campus, we welcome you, international students, to our Classes Internationales program, in our Global INSA+ section, where you can pursue a high-quality education in applied sciences. Our study programme comprising the first year adapted to international classes, followed by five years of study (2 general preparatory years and 3 engineering specialization years), is punctuated by numerous internships in companies, leading to a Master's level Engineering Degree recognized worldwide.

Our school has three key strengths: excellent scientific teaching, close ties with the industry, and 330 international university partners.

STUDENT SERVICES

We have several services dedicated to assist international students. Once admitted, you will receive all the necessary information about your arrival, including details on transportation, housing allowance, and social security etc. You will be able to book an accommodation in one of the private residences.

You will arrive 3 weeks prior to the start of classes. Then, you will receive intensive French courses, as well as mathematics and physics classes to help you adapt to the curriculum. You will also participate to cultural and social activities such as the visit of Rouen and the Mont Saint-Michel.

During the year, you will be able to join the "buddy system", and be paired with a local student for support. You will also be supported by the teaching team, the social office team, and the international office team. You will also be able to participate to many other social and cultural activities planned either by teachers or students.
