This national degree enables students to pursue a master's program or enter the job market in heritage and museums, art publishing, cultural mediation and communications, tourism, art trade, and teaching.

BACHELOR'S DEGREE – Performing Arts

This national degree enables students to pursue a master's program or enter the job market in cultural administration, audiovisual and multimedia production and creation, the cultural press, cultural mediation, and teaching.

BACHELOR'S DEGREE – Visual Arts

This national degree enables students to pursue a master's program or enter the job market in art and creation, art mediation, cultural industry, and teaching.

PRESENTATION

Université Rennes 2 is the largest center for research and higher education in the fields of human and social sciences in western France. It welcomes 20,000 students each year, including 3,000 international students.

Although there are special fees on Y0 to meet the specific needs of the CI students, from Y1 onwards, Rennes 2 charges the same fees to its international students as to its French and European students. The following numbers include:

  • Registration fees/year: 178 € in Bachelor, 254 € in Master (including documentation services)
  • CVEC (social, health, cultural and sporting support of students)/year: 105 €

STUDENT SERVICES

Université Rennes 2 ensures that international students are provided with a specific welcome program and an enriching life experience, thanks to its dedicated services and its partnership with the CMI (Rennes International Mobility Center), located in the city center.

The CMI provides practical assistance with all administrative procedures before departure and upon arrival (website, webinars, in-person meetings, and individual appointments) and offers many cultural, sporting, and tourist events.

At Rennes 2, students will also find dedicated services: International Office, local coordinators, Buddy System. Before departure, students receive the necessary information about accommodation. They can reserve a room at CROUS.

The CIREFE (French Language Learning Center), located on campus, provides personalized support and organizes numerous extracurricular activities (artistic pursuits, outings, cultural events, etc.).

The University holds two labels guaranteeing a high-quality welcome and training in French: 'Bienvenue en France' (Welcome to France) and 'Qualité FLE' (Quality French as a Foreign Language).
