BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING - Teaching, education and training course

This course covers the history of education, art, mathematics, French, English, body language, philosophy, etc. It offers a progressive and concrete approach to practices and professional positioning, in professions “addressed to others with the aim of transformation”: experiencing a learning situation through the development of a personal practice (sport, culture, other) in 1st year; involvement in an activity situation involving others, observation and analysis of a professional training course in 2nd year; exercising an educational function on and with others with an immersion internship in the targeted profession at the end of the Licence, in 3rd year.

This university degree allows the students to get admitted to a Master’s degree.

MASTER’S DEGREE IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING SCIENCES

This Master aims to train educational professionals specialized in school, university, and adult training sectors. It aims to advance students’ scientific knowledge and skills in Education and Training, methodologies for analyzing work situations (teaching, learning, training), and research frameworks for understanding professional practices and designing tools and systems in the fields of education and training.

The Master is linked to the research laboratory "Activity-Knowledge-Transmission-Education."

It offers a rigorous training program based on:

  1. Acquiring skills in the fields of designing digital resources, pedagogical engineering, educational research, and project management;
  2. Combining face-to-face learning with asynchronous, and synchronous distance learning;
  3. Internships in France and abroad, with university and scientific partnerships;
  4. Incorporating relevant international research in the fields of Education and Training sciences and Labor sciences.

CAREER PROSPECTS: the programmes prepare you to become experts in adult education and children's learning; resource design and digital platform integration within educational institutions, universities, and business; E-educational Project designers; Internal professional training designers for companies, as well as external customer training (E-learning).

STUDENT SERVICES

The institution assists students receive all the necessary information about their arrival, including details on accommodation, transportation, and social security etc. Students can reserve a room at CROUS (public institution to help students) or in one of the private residences, as Université Clermont Auvergne has several agreements and contacts with these places. Welcome and information sessions are organized for the students to introduce them to the university and its services as well as a tour of the campuses and the city. Throughout their time at the university, students will be supported by the entire teaching team, especially by the administrative team and the teachers.
