PRESENTATION OF THE INSTITUTION

CESI is a private, multi-campus higher education institution with a single governance structure. Every year, CESI trains 28,000 students on 25 campuses throughout France. Founded in 1958 on the initiative of five industrial groups, CESI continues to develop its syllabi in line with the recruitment and training needs of industry.

CESI is accredited by the Commission des titres d'ingénieurs (CTI), and is a member of the Conférence des directeurs des écoles françaises d'ingénieurs (CDEFI) and the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE). CESI also has a research laboratory (CESI LINEACT) working on smart cities/buildings and industry 4.0. A pioneer in active pedagogies, the school is a member of the international CDIO™ network.

The Paris-Nanterre Campus is responsible, for all CESI campuses, for developing relations with India, and has already carried cooperation agreements with higher education institutions in India (VNIT in Nagpur, Manipal University in Jaipur, IITRAM Gujarat, Chandigarh University, NHCE Bengalore). The Paris-Nanterre Campus welcomes over 3,400 students per year. Located near the Central Business District of La Défense, it offers a unique opportunity to mix cultural discovery of the Paris region and high potential employability.
